Abstract: In this paper you can find some aspects about the theorist, and also musician, Howard S. Becker. Aspects like his chronology with all his achievements. Other aspects are the articles that talk about Howard Becker like an article by Jeanette Østergaard* which is based on Howard´ s sociology or an interview to Howard Becker by Ken Plummer, expressing his sociological perspectives. And to end, all the articles written by Howard S. Becker, articles on which he expresses his opinion about topics like drugs, the new media, culture, society and its organization, but of course his opinion about sociology and his theory about labeling that has brought him great recognition and “invented” the field of what is called now deviance. This theory is completely developed on his book Outsiders.
