Summary of the plot

MERPY’S BAD MOOD Merpy’s wakes up one day and feels that his friends annoy him a lot, more than they usually do but they are just trying to cheer him up but Merpy doesn’t feel that way. Everyone, except the dog Schlomo, give up trying to make Merpy feel better. The dog is the only one character which can turn her in a good humor and the story ends with Merpy going back to her friends after staring at the dog’s eyes.

THE STORY OF JEREMY DRAGONFLY AND SCHLOMO THE DOG! This story begins with Jeremy Dragonfly, he feels a little bit down for a moment, a little bit depressive so he decides to go to visit the doctor and so expect him to diagnose his problem of depression. The doctor doesn’t approve any kind of medication just recommend Jeremy to buy a dog to fill the loneliness he is feeling every day in his life. He goes to the shelter and then try to pick up a dog out of four, and so he choose one called Schlomo and that’s how the story ends, they live happily ever after together.

MERPY AND THE MONSTERS!

This a very short one, Merpy is about getting into bed for sleep but she starts checking all places around, the garden, the closets, under her bed looking for monsters but she gives up and try to sleep. Here is when she starts hearing strange sounds then afterwards the monsters come out and begin to sing along. Merpy’s realizes that they must come back to the wardrobe because she’s got school the following day.

JEREMY DRAGONFLY

This story talk about the personality of Jeremy. An old friend gives him that nickname of Dragonfly but without being offensive. He usually does silly faces and fool around. He has an adventure with the dog called Schlomo, traveling around to the outer space, having picnics with aliens wearing pajamas. Jeremy seems to have fun but this flopped out when some cranky old boys got in his way. They begin to insult him but he reply saying he’s special and so the boys leave him alone, the educative part here is that you can’t believe what people say, just what you really believe in.

JEREMY DRAGONFLY CATCHES THE ARTBUG

This story is quite funny, Jeremy Dragonfly has a curious cold and so he can’t help sneezing all the time but in a particular way, a very outrageous one: each sneeze he does art painting out from his nose! Art painting, folk songs... etc. Artistic people begin to get upset with him and to feel jealous of him. He feels disheartened about this situation so he goes to the doctor. The doctor say there’s no problem with this, a world without art would be sad so Jeremy go on with his artistic flu and his friends would return to him.

MERPY AND THE MOSNTERS GO SWIMMING

In this story Merpy and her monsters friends are in a sweat! So they decide to go to a swimming pool to have a good time and to refresh. When they arrived to the pool Merpy realizes that one friend of her, Glopagus Gulter, is afraid of the water, he would go for a splash like everyone else so he remains out of the pool. Luckily his friends encourage him and persuade him to get into the water and they get him to, at the end.

MERPY’S HALLOWEEN ADVENTURE

Holloween costumes Is the main thing in this story, Merpy dressed up as a witch, Jeremy Dragonfly as a magical genie and some more friends of her too. There were at home in a “treat or trick” night waiting for people to knock on the door, but when some humans come along and ring the bell run being scared by the monsters. But when they grew quiet and got near the house they all become friends.

THE MONSTER HOLIDAY

Here is Christmas time and the monsters arrange a big celebration but they wonder what to do, what do monsters usually celebrate. They all begin to think about thing to do, Dusty D'Arrange by the light of the fire
recounts the legends of the monsters heroes, the Ghoulashes play the traditional games
with surprises for all their guests,Glopagus Gurtle does the traditional dance
Where she pretends she's the stars and the moon and that how they celebrate the monster holiday
