Abstract : Este trabajo es un análisis del hipertexto del autor Michael Joyce, "On the birthday of the stranger".
Nuestro objetivo mediante este análisis es el estudiar por partes tanto el espacio en el que se desarrolla, el tiempo en el que acontece, como el argumento y los personajes que aparecen en él, ademas de un análisis lingüístico . También incluimos una introducción donde hacemos patentes los problemas que nos surgieron tras su lectura y el modo de hacerlo y una conclusión donde exponemos la ideas a las que hemos llegado después de leer el hipertexto junto a nuestra crítica y opinión personal.
This essay is a commentary of the Michael Joyce’s hypertext On the birthday of the stranger. Through it, we want to study the text in different parts, on the one hand a study of the place where the plot takes place, the time when it ocurrs and an analysis of the linguistic features and on the other the development of the plot and the characters who appear in the hypertext. An introduction, which shows the problems that we had when we were reading it and a conclusion are also added. This last part is contains our personal opinion and critics about the topic, the structure, the style...
We hope this analysis on-line will be useful for somebody who is interested in hypertext literature and Michel Joyce’s hypertext.
