I have enjoyed this book very much. At first, I really expected it to one of those tail stories for younger kids but I found out very quickly that it's very easy to read and comprehend. It's also very interesting. Your imagination can run wild while you're reading this book if you'll let it.
George Orwell, in my opionion, is an magnific writer. He shows what he is feeling in his heart, in a way that is very easy to understand for people of all ages.
We can compare this allegory with other books, such as, Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift and the Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan.
One important question we can make, is: Is Animal Farm still relevant? It's now many years since the Russian Revolution and even since the publication in 1945 of Animal Farm.
Unfortunatelly, the issues raised by Orwell are still with us. Can we rely on political leaders to carry out the ideals with which they came to power? Will all governments tend to be corrupts?
The message seems to be that we have to be always careful, always vigilant -or our freedoms can be stolen by governments who find it inconvenient to be criticised.
