Title of the paper:Considering a baby?” – Space Aspect

Author or topic: Adrienne Eisen

Abstract: Adrienne Eisen is a North American hypertext writer. We don’t know when she was born, but we know that she is still alive and she works in New York in an online business.   If you are interested in knowing a bit more about her interesting life and all the different names she has had (Adrienne Eisen or Penelope Trunk) you should visit the biography section. Also, if you like her style and the way she writes you should take a look at the works section where you can find all her publications. I have made a summary of her work “Considering a baby?” in a different section. There you can find an analysis of her work and also a summary of it. I have analyzed the story in a space aspect, which it is divided into two different pages: There is an internal analysis (the description of the places that the story takes place in) and also an external analysis (the relation with the author and those places named). I have made a final conclusion to the whole website about Adrienne Eisen and her works. Also it is needed to mention that each website has a link to my blog, where I have been taking notes while I read Considering a baby?

Auto-evaluation: I think this paper has been easier than the last one. Maybe because I already knew how to use my website, maybe because it was a personal paper about a hypertext that we had chosen, so it was more interesting to write my own ideas. I don’t know. What I know is that this time the difficulties that I had before were gone, and I have been able to work faster and I think clearer, too. Using the blog has kind of confused me a little bit. At the beginning I didn’t know we had to write down our notes there so I used a notebook, but when I realized I wanted to try the blog thingy out too. I had never had a blog and I found it appropriate to start using one for class and if I liked it then I’d keep it up. It took me a while to learn how it worked, it’s pretty simple but I kept loosing what I had written. Finally, I got the hang of it and it became easier, once again (as it had happened with the website). Nevertheless, I think it made me waste time that I could have used on the website itself. About the analysis, I must just comment one little thing. I have worked on the space analysis. I thought the internal analysis (where does the action happen?) was going to be easier than the external one; however, it was harder than I had thought. There was not much to talk about the internal analysis, so I preferred to pay more attention to the external one. I made out one big point (the relation between the origin of the writer and her work) and it came out to be more interesting than the internal analysis. I don’t know what I am going to get this time, but if I need to grade myself I’d grade me with a 8’5.
