If a hypertext is made only by nodes, links and anchorages,
the navigation across the information will be confused for the reader and he
can lose the course of the reading, because he can have the impression of
getting lost, and also can find that exits more information than he could
manage to read; due to the fact that the reader is accustomed to the linear
text and not to a non-linear text.
To alleviate the problem, it is
necessary to organize the information in such a way that the reader could
recover the most relevant or precise information by means of consultations.
This labor is carried out establishing a system of search and recovery, and
also putting into practice all the possible technical resources, as the use of
documentary languages, which together with the design, an adapted interface of consultation
and the appropriate tools, will facilitate that the information, in which we
are interested, could be recovered in an effective and immediate form. Tools
must facilitate the navigation and in addition, they should help the user not
only not getting lost, but also provide a rapid, simple and efficient search.
Navegate through this hypertext is
not only a task, but also a way to realize other tasks, as having access to
more information about the Aztec society, consulting its content or knowing more
about their authors. In order to be Sister Stories easily to read, the authors
have made used of the following tools of orientation, access and search :
Inclusion of menus at the top and bottom
of each screen
Lists
of links that favor the location of the information
