DEFINITION
When I chose this hypertext I didn’t know the meaning of the title, so I looked it up on Internet and I found that “Stardom” means:
star•dom (stär d m) n.
1. The status of a performer or entertainer acknowledged as a star.
2. Star performers considered as a group.

Finally, I looked it up in the “Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary (7th Edition)”
and it said the following:
star•dom /'stɑːdəm; NAmE 'stɑːrdəm/ noun [U] the state of being famous as an actor, a singer, etc.: the group is being tipped for stardom ( = people say they will be famous ). ◊ She shot to stardom in a Broadway musical.
