In this section get ready to analyze in detail the form that has the work: the way how is constructed and establish a comparison between this and the renamed works published for the author in the net.

To begin, I must say that the work what I have worked, 8 minutes was written in the year 1996 for Enterzone. It is structured in a very simple way. The author does not use photographies or images to refer to the text. The work is composite by paragraphs, that are different in number of lines. These relate the history as a sequential presentation. So each paragraph appears in the screen of the reader automatically each several seconds, so that at the end of the work, your reading has had an approximate 8-minutes duration, that constitutes the title of the work.

Regarding the aesthetic of the hypertext, is very scarce. The author bases it on a few grey background, that confer to the work an extremely sober aspect. This grey background is stamped with the mathematical sign of the infinite or which it is the same thing, with the number 8 in horizontal position and at the end of each of the sequences. if we prick on the white eight in horizontal position it goes one step away in the hypertext, ie, to the following sequence that composes the hypertex. It automatically exchanges the screen to permit see us the following corresponding text.

Besides the fact of this aspect and the previously mentioned of cannot find nor a single photo in the whole work, it would not emphasize nothing else special. It deals with of such a work and as commenting in the section of space-time with where surely the author begins a search of public in its feminine majority, so that the presence of the woman between the characters they appear in the work, as well as her comments and opinions, are presented for the author as the more relevant thing.

This so sober line of presentation what defines to Martha Conway is not precisely a casual of the overworked work for my, but that already in works as "Girl Birth Water Death", created by the author in 1995, already we find this simplicity in a text what contains a single picture and two square links that permit us to jump from one link to other in the hypertext.

In her "Dust" work (1997), also we find an extremely simple structure without any link and in which only we find a simple photography to illustrate the text.

In other of her works, " Everything after that ", Martha Conway uses a very simple structure, with the variant that the author decides to the text with a series of links, that permit the reader go through the time of the work.

Martha Conway always has followed sketches of design very simple. For example, the work " Mattel to Barbie", where we find a rupture with a simplicity of forms. In this hypertext we find a several quantity of links that interconnect some parts of the works with other, and photographies on those where you can click to get the description of the different types of barbies that describes the author. Besides these photographies and links, the author offers us the possibility of follow our own reading selecting in the hypertext the different parts to go wherever we want and does it by means of the image of a barbie doll on we can click on its differents of the body.

This type of hypertext in the author has weight a radical change respect to the reminder of the carried out hypertexts so as for the shape. which doesn’t occur concerning to the reader to the one that she directs to. We can comparish the last hypertext with “8 minutes”. All of mentioned works until now and in specially “Mattel to Barbie”, centered in the female figure, are directed with special interest to the female reader and the presence of the woman is absolutely and indisputably important.
