STRUCTURE
This hypertext is intimately related with the aspect of
tools.
The story presents the following structure of links:
Cover or Month One: Your finances / Your sleep / Your skin
Month Two: Your mood / Your friends / Your spice
Month Three: Your naps / Your amnio
Month Four: Your clothes /Your worries / Your discharge
Month Five: Your model / Your cobra
Month Six: Your outburst / Your mucus
Month Seven: Your husband / Your sex life / Your vagina
Month Eight: Your moods / Your mother / Your instincts
Month Nine: Your labor
(Information from http://mural.uv.es/ecanla/analisis_considering.html)
There are always different possibilities of choosing one link
or another that transports you to the next month except in the nine month that
is the same for all the paths. Consequently, we see in each month an isolated
scene that narrates a fact. So we can imagine the effort of the author to
create a story coordinated from only one glance to the characters for month. This
explains why is so important in the hypertext maintain a detailed reading and
is easy have difficulties to join some elements with the whole story.
There are varied forms of read the hypertext as the previous
scheme shows, but I would emphasize two; I first read the hypertext clicking on
the links situated in the left part and after those located in the half and
right side. There’s an important difference, scenes of sex are very scarce in
the left path while they are abundant in the other. In addition, during the
left reading there aren’t problems of ambiguity, but gives the sensation that
the hypertext needs something that we found in the right route.
