Abstract :The first thing that needs to be said here is that "Cutting Edges" is a hyperfiction with the length of a novel which makes it more difficult to approach. Far from being exhaustive, my work on Ruth Nestvold's "Cutting Edges" tries to highlight the most important aspect of this hyperfiction which is the so-called "war between the sexes". The Introduction brings information about this hyperfiction and its author. The Personal Approach is where I give my own opinion on the subject of this hyperfiction and where I make a short summary of the plot. Then I thought of situating "Cutting Edges" in the Time & Space coordinates so that the reader might find out when and where it took place. And since the hyperfiction is about the war between the sexes I thought it would be interesting to present a little the protagonists of this "war" which are women and men with all their virtues and imperfections ending up with a general Conclusion
Auto-evaluation: I will say here practically the same things I said in the conclusion: I have learned many new things after spending lots and lots of hours in front of the computer. If I hadn't had the problems I had with the computer and internet and publishing I would have finished my work and I would have done a better job. It's been an interesting class and I dedicated a lot of time to my web page even if it doesn't show. I don't know if I'm supposed to actually give myself a mark but, just in case, I would give myself an 8.
