Here, according to one of the aims of this project website, I would like to determine using the appropriate study of Laura Campillo (English Department teacher from University of Murcia) the different translation techniques which were used by some of the greatest Shakespeare’s translators, such as McPherson, Astrana and Valverde in order to analyse how they also help the Spanish reader to achieve the acquisition of the Elizabethan cultural elements which influence beyond his texts our time also.

Translation can be understood also as a key feature which helps the non-native reader to be also influenced by a foreign author, that being a contemporary or not assist on the reader to achieve other messages, ideas or cultural items from abroad, depending on the translatorīs job that essence of the original will be acquire in one or another way, creating so, more or less proper visions from the original and therefore through new texts which may influence readers in a particular way.

Letīs get some more information on how these three men understood Shakespeare texts and translate them through their works, letīs get some clues about how translation can help to achieve or enhance certain aspects in opposition to others as per the translator will.
