Our secondary school is situated in a small town with natural surroundings and commercial area. Our school is the only school for national minorities in North Vidzeme region, the students come from different social layers, both from Russian and Russian-Latvian mixed families, and also some other nationalities, such as Ukrainians, Belorussians, or Polish.

Practically our school is a Russian Culture Centre in North Vidzeme, we succeed in integrating our students into the Latvian society without losing their national identity. In this project Valmiera Secondary school No 2 will be a partner, offering our experience in integrating process and willing to share and grow in our understsanding of European idea and dimension.
